Passion for all things Low Carb started back in 1972 when Dr. Robert Atkins first book “Dr. Atkins’ Diet Revolution” came out. The Low Carb diet made sense! It worked for her as she married and started her large family of five sons and two daughters
Became interested in The New Atkin’s Diet Revolution in 2004 when her weight was at its highest of 300 pounds. Her diabetes was out of control, so wanting to see her kids grow up she decided she needed to make some positive changes.
Kathy began her low carb/keto journey in May 2011 with her husband, Shelton. Together they lost over 100 lbs and have discovered the many health benefits of this lifestyle in addition to weight loss. Kathy is very passionate about this lifestyle.
